I often have this little dilema when I am nearly out of diapers...our Food Basics very rarely has size 5 and I cringe at the price of diapers at Sobeys, and they often are out of size 5 anyway. So this will normally mean a trip to a larger town. I will probalbly still pick up diapers in a bigger town, but this week i decided to try out Well.ca! This is an online site to buy anything you would find at a large pharmacy..it is based in Guelph. The biggest bonus is that they always have free shipping, and also the prices are very comparable. It was recommended to me, and sounded very convenient!
I checked out the current sale price of diapers at Walmart, size 5 worked out to be 33 cents a diaper and well.ca's sale price was 29 cents a diaper for size 5. So last week it was cheaper to go that route. I found a few other items on sale that I needed. And placed an order. They say 2-4 business days till delivery,(very accurate) and they have an option to have it left at your door if you are not home. One other little bonus is that you can pick some free samples too!
Yep, my free samples:)
So I would definately recommend this site, Be sure to compare prices...but sometimes the convenience of staying home is worth what you would spend on fuel, and unecassary purchases!
This looks smart! And fun to have it delivered...sigh, isn't it silly that diapers get more expensive as they get bigger? I know it is more material, but it can't be that expensive to manufacture! We're at size 4 over here... :-)
