Florida Pictures (Part 1)

 

Hello!

 It has been a really long time since I have posted anything (much to the frustration of a certain sister.... who's name starts with an A!) 

We recently went to Florida with our three oldest kids (from a Monday to Saturday) so here are some of the pictures. We enjoyed gorgeous and apparently unusually warm weather for January.

 The pictures above are of a park near Kissimmee that we went to while we were waiting for the check in time for the place we rented.

 

This is the house we rented in Clermont, it was part of a gated neighborhood that had a resort area with pools, splash pad and playground etc. that was ideally located just steps away.

On Tuesday we went to Disney Springs-( I think it used to be called Downtown Disney) the shopping district of Disney. Everything in this "town" is well done in true Disney fashion. Not Disney character themed per se. It is filled with high end shops of all kinds from hats, chocolate, jewelry, clothing, bowling alley, lego, toy, disney stores and many waterfront restaurants.

 

 

 On the Wednesday we headed to Fort de Soto beach on the gulf. Eden's main objective in Florida was to collect shells. Even when we were in central Florida she was on the look out for shells. When we arrived at the beach she hit her jackpot and was completely en-"gulfed":)

This is classic Mariel...trying to get the seagull to eat out of her hand while sporting goggles and a chocolate mustache!

 The beach was definitely the kids favorite part of the trip. The 29 degree sunny weather made it possible.
